CyberTech Guardians ("CTG", "we", "us") operates the Sales Guardian Academy platform (the "Service") to train and certify members of our internal sales team. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to employees, contractors, and authorised representatives of CyberTech Guardians who hold a @cybertechguardians.com account on the Service. The Service is not open to the general public.
2. Data we collect
- Account data — full name, work email address, hashed password, role.
- Learning activity — modules viewed, quiz attempts, scores, completion timestamps, final exam attempts and certification status.
- Booking data — preferred date, time, timezone, phone, and notes you submit when booking a walkthrough call.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and basic log data needed to operate the Service securely.
3. How we use your data
- To deliver the training, score quizzes, and issue certifications.
- To schedule and run your walkthrough call with the CTG team.
- To monitor training progress and team performance internally.
- To secure the platform, detect abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Legal basis (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Where data protection law applies, we rely on (a) the performance of your employment or contractor relationship with CTG, (b) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving an internal training programme, and (c) compliance with legal obligations.
5. Data sharing
We share data only with:
- Authorised CTG staff (administrators and managers) for the purposes above.
- Sub-processors that host or operate the Service on our behalf, under written data-processing terms.
- Regulators or law enforcement where we are legally required to do so.
6. Retention
We retain account, learning, and booking records for as long as your CTG account is active, and for up to 24 months after your account is closed, unless a longer period is required by law or legitimate business need (e.g., maintaining a record of certifications issued).
7. Security
We use industry-standard controls including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, row-level security on our database, role-based access, and audit logging. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure — promptly report any suspected incident to security@cybertechguardians.com.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, and request portability. Contact privacy@cybertechguardians.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. International transfers
Our hosting providers may process data in regions outside your home country. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) in place.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice inside the Service.
